Our journey starts on the 19th of December 2015. We open the doors of “Murray’s Irish Lunch & Coffee”. It all started as a hobby, nothing too serious, just for fun. It quickly grew completely out of hand. Almost seven years later our dream of owning our own pub has become a reality. Our own pub, where we strive to bring a piece of Ireland to the center of Spijkenisse. Welcome to Murray’s. Enjoy some of our authentic Irish food, beers and, of course, our extensive collection of Irish whiskeys. Murray’s is a place where everyone, from all walks of life, can feel at home. This is our story.

Murray’s started as a small lunchroom in a forgotten alley in Spijkenisse. Looking back, it is hardly recognisable compared to today. Our core values, however, have remained unchanged since then. We provide our guests with a home away from home. A place where they can relax and lay their hat. A place where you can bring your mates for a night out, but can also bring your kids for a family outing. This is our story.

This lunchroom of ours soon grew into a real pub. In 2018 we underwent a huge make-over and had our first real bar built. Our small lunchroom was no more, and “Murray’s Irish Food & Drinks” was opened in September of 2018. We started serving Guinness, Kilkenny and Peroni on draught and our modest selection of whiskeys started to grow steadily.

With that collection of Irish whiskeys we found our passion. We started organising our now-famous “Murray’s Whiskey Experiences”. Whiskey tastings where the focus lays on enjoying the whiskey, not being lectured on it. Our collection kept growing over the years and we now serve over 100 different Irish whiskeys. One of the largest Irish whiskey collections in Europe!
